DC 2050 Shares Roadmap for Small Area Plans Across the City
The DC Office of Planning (OP) is continuing its work with residents, community organizations, businesses and elected officials to develop DC 2050, the District’s next Comprehensive Plan.
The Comprehensive Plan helps guide how Washington, DC grows and changes over time, making the DC 2050 process an important one for residents, businesses and community stakeholders across the city to follow.
In the latest edition of the DC 2050 Insider, the Office of Planning provides new information about its roadmap for Small Area Plans across the District and explains why these neighborhood-focused plans are an important part of planning for DC’s future.
The update also includes opportunities for residents to connect directly with the DC 2050 team at local libraries, highlights the team’s recent community engagement, and answers a question many residents may have: When will my community get a new Small Area Plan?
