The 295 Underpass Public Works Initiative
The Anacostia BID and the Art to Go-Go Arts & Culture District is working to reimagine the 295 underpass leading from Marion Barry Avenue SE into Anacostia Park. It’s important that our stakeholders have an opportunity to engage in the conversation about what this will become to create an inviting, safe, clean and unique gateway point between Historic Anacostia and Anacostia Park. We would like to hear your ideas and visions!

Are you a local artist interested in Helping to

The Anacostia BID will be selecting artists to help reimagine the 295 underpass. The selected artists will be provided with a stipend for their design proposals. To apply, fill out the form at the link below. Applications closing Friday, August 2nd, 2024.
