Applications accepted for Color the Curb: School Safety Program
The DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities (CAH), in partnership with DDOT and DC Public Schools, is seeking District-based artists to help create ground murals that boost pedestrian safety near four DCPS schools.
As part of the Color the Curb: School Safety Program, selected artists will collaborate with a designated school’s faculty and students—supported by a DDOT ground-mural technical expert—to design and install a bold, colorful mural that reflects the school community and helps calm traffic.
