Oct 7 | Energy Efficiency Day Comes to the Go-Go Museum

DC residents interested in learning about energy efficiency, solar power and programs that may help lower household energy costs can head to Anacostia for DOEE Energy Efficiency Day.

The DC Department of Energy and Environment (DOEE) will host its Energy Efficiency Day celebration on Wednesday, October 7, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Go-Go Museum & Café.

The event will give residents an opportunity to learn about Solar for All and other programs and resources available to District residents.

DOEE will be joined by several partners, including the DC Sustainable Energy Utility, Public Service Commission of the District of Columbia, Office of the Tenant Advocate, Pepco and others.

Residents can speak with participating organizations and learn more about available programs, eligibility and how to apply.

Organizers emphasize that the event is informational. Residents will not be able to enroll in District programs during the event and should not bring personal or sensitive documents with them.

DOEE Energy Efficiency Day will take place rain or shine. Limited street parking is available.
