JULY 12–AUG 30 | Jazzy Sundays in Anacostia Returns for a Second Season
After a successful inaugural season, Jazzy Sundays in Anacostia is returning for Year Two, bringing another summer of live music, community gathering, and cultural experiences to the Anacostia Arts & Culture District.
The popular concert series will run from July 12 through August 30, 2026, inviting residents and visitors to spend their Sunday afternoons and evenings enjoying live performances, local food and drinks, and the vibrant atmosphere that has made the neighborhood a destination for arts and culture.
Last year's series featured eight talented musical acts and drew audiences from across the District, creating a weekly tradition that combined great music with opportunities to support local businesses and connect with neighbors.
This year, attendees can look forward to a mix of returning favorites and new performers as the series continues to showcase the diverse talent that helps define Washington, DC's music scene.
Organizers have also announced the return of the Annual Jazzy Hop Sound Sessions, which will serve as the grand finale for the 2026 season. Taking place on August 30, the neighborhood-wide event will feature live music throughout the Anacostia Arts & Culture District, transforming multiple locations into stages for a celebration of sound, culture, and community.
Whether you're a longtime jazz enthusiast or simply looking for a relaxing way to end the weekend, Jazzy Sundays offers an opportunity to enjoy live music in one of the city's most creative and historic neighborhoods.
With eight weeks of performances on the schedule, organizers encourage residents to mark their calendars and make Jazzy Sundays part of their summer plans.
