April 24 | Vigil for Abdul Seck, pedestrian killed during Easter car accident

Members of the community are invited to attend this vigil to honor the life of Abdul Seck, the pedestrian that was killed during the horrific traffic accident that occurred in Anacostia over the Easter holiday.

The vigil will be this Wednesday, April 24th at 6:30pm at the corner of 16th and V Streets SE.

In response to the accident, DDOT has announced that “plans are underway to install an all-way stop at 16th and V Streets SE, as well as speed humps on the intersecting roadways. Work will begin on this immediately.”
