The Anacostia Business Improvement District (BID) believes in community and was happy to lead a partnership with Starbucks, Councilmember Trayon White, National Service Contractors, Far Southeast Family Strengthening Collaborative, Maple View Flats and Neighborhood Provisions to coordinate the delivery of free meals provided by World Central Kitchen to local seniors.

The Anacostia BID Clean Team powered by CareerPath was instrumental in providing enhanced cleaning services for the food distribution staging area donated by Chapman LLC at Maple View Flats. 

To date, the Anacostia BID has been able to distribute over 25,000 free meals to those most vulnerable during the COVID-19 crisis.
