Jerusalem is a passionate advocate for economic and community development.  She has championed $350 million in procurements for school modernizations, data-intense ‘Sustainability and Energy’ projects, and emergency construction while serving as a Contracts Specialist for DC’s Department of General Services.

Furthermore, she has expanded utilization of local businesses working with District agencies to set-aside over $150 million projects in construction, A/E, and IT services for small, resident-owned businesses in Wards 7 and 8 on behalf of the office of the Deputy Mayor for Greater Economic Opportunity.

Most recently, she works in the development of local businesses through program evaluation, data management, and proposal development; generating over $32 million in new government contracting opportunities for local businesses since founding CREATRIX Limited Company in the summer of 2019.
