The mission of the Historic Anacostia Block Association (HABA) is to keep our neighbors informed and involved in the social happenings of our Community. By bringing residents together, we utilize social networking and collaboration for the betterment of our community. HABA helps determine the community's needs and problems, and seeks solutions and relief. We work in harmony with all Ward 8 organizations and agencies in Washington, DC and provide a forum for exchanging ideas, information, research and opinions, thus improving the quality of life within and around our community.
