SEPT 25 | Celebrate Anacostia Playhouse's Reopening With A Reunion Performance Of Love Letters
In 2004, long time friends James Foster and Adele Robey presented A.R. Gurney’s Love Letters in what would become the first of many such performances over the years. In celebration of the reopening of Anacostia Playhouse after a long year and a half pandemic hiatus, they return to the stage for one performance only to welcome you back to live theater. Love Letters is under the direction of longtime Playhouse friend Jared Shamberge.
Doors will open at 6 pm with the performance at 7 pm. Come early and enjoy a cup of cheer and the sounds of DJ Edward Daniels; greet friends, meet board members, staff and volunteers, and celebrate being back in the theater.
Then, stay afterwards as we turn up the heat and start the party! Light refreshments and more cups of cheer will be on hand.
Tickets for the event are $20 and all inclusive. Tickets must be bought in advance, and will not be sold at the door.
