MahoganyBooks presents DC Teen Authors Event

MahoganyBooks is excited to be hosting four very special local authors for a Meet & Greet event on November 30, 2019, Small Business Saturday. We welcome local teen authors Jocktavious Holmes (Ballou HS), London Jones (Anacostia HS), Japan Spells (Anacostia HS), and Anaya Hardy (Ballou HS) to MahoganyBooks to discuss and autograph their recently published children's books. As featured in their recent Washington Post interview, these young writers have a lot to say. For London and her co-writers they sought this opportunity to address issues that impact her and her peers.

Join us on November 30, 2019, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM for a Meet & Greet book signing featuring our young teens. It's an incredible opportunity to not only support a young people who are using their words to inspire and inform, these books will also make great Christmas/Kwanzaa gifts as you kick off your holiday shopping.
