Nov 3 | Deadline for nominations for Ward 8 Commemorative Works
The District is accepting nominations for commemorative subjects in Wards 8. The deadline for submitting nominations is midnight on November 3rd, 2023.
Nominations should be:
1. Individuals, groups, events, or other significant elements of DC culture/history and of long-term, historic importance
2. A person who has been deceased for at least 10 years or an event that has occurred at least 10 years ago.
