Join Honfleur Gallery for an Artist Talk featuring Jay Coleman and Eglon Daley

Convergence, a joint show featuring Eglon Daley and Jay Coleman, opened digitally last month. Our first digital art showing showcased each artist's work. Our upcoming artists talk is an opportunity for Eglon and Jay to tell the stories of each of their pieces. Join us on 6/20 for the Convergence Artist Talk. Everything kicks off at 2 PM. 

Convergence is a fusion of art styles made possible by Jay Coleman and Eglon Daley. These DC based artists explore the complexity of the human frame and the sanctity of everyday life together in their upcoming group show. 

As an artist, Eglon Daley mixes personal expression and public, shared process. He depicts the human landscape of vibrant social gatherings, festivals, city streets and public meetings to form a scene that celebrates the diversity and unity of contemporary experience. His work can be found in private collections throughout the United States, Jamaica, Germany, and Spain as well as in the permanent collection at the Washington Convention Center. Jay Coleman, M.A. Ed., H.D. has been in the service of children for over 15 years. With experience teaching and as an administrator in public, private and charter schools, he has concentrated his expertise in the field of special education. As a professional artist and father, his sensitivity to the human spirit has enabled him to educate and inspire parents and students alike. After attending Morehouse College 94’ he returned to D.C. to further his studies at the Corcoran School of Art, 99’. Under the direction of his mentor Lois Mailou Jones, he began graduate studies at Howard University.
