JUNE 13 | Laced Up Leashed Up Walk Through Anacostia Park

Dog lovers across DC are invited to come outside, bring their pups, and connect with fellow pet parents during Laced Up Leashed Up, a free community dog walk and social event hosted by The Muttropolitan Pet.

The beginner-friendly event will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 9:00am to 12:00pm at The Bridge District, located at 600 Howard Road SE.

Participants will enjoy a relaxed 3-mile walk through historic Anacostia Park before returning to The Bridge District for music, giveaways, community activities, and a pet supply swap.

Attendees are encouraged to bring gently used dog supplies — including toys, collars, leashes, bowls, beds, harnesses, and clothing — to exchange with other pet owners during the swap.

The event is open to all ages, breeds, and experience levels, making it a great opportunity for both longtime dog owners and newer pet parents to meet others in the community.

Dogs attending the event must be friendly, remain leashed at all times, and be up to date on rabies and distemper vaccinations.
