First performed in 2013, I Am Anacostia is a living theater piece that changes and adapts to reflect the communities east of the river. You have the opportunity to determine where I Am Anacostia goes next. Sharing your experiences and stories will help inspire future I Am Anacostia series projects. Bring your stories of change, bring a story of resilience, bring your story of overcoming obstacles, and bring a story of community. This evening will feature Verbal Gymnastics Playback Theatre Troupe.
