FEB 19 | Art and Calls to Action with Yetunde Sapp at the Anacostia Museum
Sunday, February 19 | 1 – 3pm
Smithsonian's Anacostia Community Museum
1901 Fort Pl, SE Washington, DC 20020
Anacostia artist Yetunde Sapp invites us to take a peek into her thought process and the inspiration behind “Justice for Breonna” - her stunning mural originally installed in D.C.’s Lafayette Park during the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests. View the 8 x 12-foot piece in person and experience the power of art to create change. Registration required.
This program is inspired by “The Utopia Project: Inspiration for Creative Activism,” the museum’s current in-gallery experience.
