We turn to Black History Month to reflect on the past while dreaming of the future. So many of us forget to care for ourselves in the present, overlooking the spiritual compass. How can we empower ourselves to blossom in an often unforgiving world? What do mental health, literacy, and spiritual wellness look and feel like? On 2/17, the Anacostia Arts Center will host Afro House: Spirit Fest from 11 AM to 5 PM.
