Far Southeast Family Strengthening Collaborative is operating on telework basis but they are still providing essential community services including:
Families connected to FSFSC will continue to be served; staff is leveraging technology to provide food assistance, case management, and other essential services.
The Credible Messengers team has been on location at Anacostia High School, Brooklyn Middle School, and McKinley Technology High School to support the DCPS food service program.
Violence Interruption teams have continued to work to ensure the safety of the community by conducting routine visibility checks.
Families who reside in priority communities are being connected to teletherapy services.
Congress Heights Senior Wellness Center is offering meals for pick up or delivery to any senior in need. They have also moved programming such as Zumba and Tai Chi online.
The community engagement team is calling families and members to offer resources, understand their emergency needs, and inform our response.
