Dec 12 | Info Session on DDOT's Smart Lighting Project @ Anacostia Library

The Department of Transportation (DDOT) and the Office of Public Private Partnerships (OP3) are hosting a series of meetings for residents to learn about the DC Smart Street Lighting Project. DDOT seeks to upgrade the street lighting network to convert the existing street lights to Light Emitting Diode (LED) technology.  The purpose of the project is to upgrade, unify, and modernize the District’s extensive street lighting network to LED lighting.  Upgrades would occur entirely within DDOT right-of-way.

The meeting will include a description of the proposed project scope, benefits, and an update of the current status of the project.  The same information will be presented at each of the meetings.  We are seeking public feedback on the proposed project. The following four meetings will be held:
