Blossom Block Sound Sessions Hits the Bridge District

From April 7–12, the Bridge District will come alive with Blossom Block Sound Sessions, a multi-day cultural activation presented by Art to Go-Go during peak cherry blossom season.

This six-day experience will feature live music, local vendors, and a range of creative and wellness-focused programming across multiple venues in Anacostia. Designed to highlight the neighborhood’s Arts & Culture District, the series brings together residents, visitors, and small businesses in a shared celebration of community and creativity.

Blossom Block Sound Sessions reflects ongoing efforts to activate the corridor through arts-driven experiences that support local entrepreneurs and position Anacostia as a vibrant destination during one of Washington, DC’s most visited seasons.

Visitors can expect a dynamic mix of performances, pop-ups, and interactive experiences throughout the week, offering multiple opportunities to engage with local talent and explore the neighborhood.
