AUGUST 21 | Smithsonian Anacostia Community Museum presents Growing Community: Summer Harvest
Saturday, August 21 | 10:30am – 12pm
Join us for our summer harvest. In addition to gathering our summer crop, garden facilitator Derek Thomas will lead attendees in a workshop exploring a summer soil primer, vegetables that have multiple yields, and the effectiveness of a compost tea.
August’s workshop will be a hybrid event. In addition to the usual Zoom platform, there are ten spots available to join Derek in the garden.
Those interested in being on site at ACM should reach out directly to Program Coordinator, Katrina Lashley LashleyK@si.edu
