Thursday, August 20 | 2:30 – 3pm

Spoken word artist Joseph Green explains how he uses themes and metaphors in his work related to current states of mind involving memory, loss, and identity during the current Covid-19 health crisis and the BLM movements happening globally today.

Joseph LMS Green, is a spoken word artist, educator, and motivational speaker with over a decade of work in youth spaces discussing his life, poetry art and social justice.  He believes that once you recognize the transformative power of reflecting on your own grit, mistakes, darkness, and light -- you build an inner strength that no one can take away from you.  He enjoys driving both youth and adults towards self-forgiveness, redemption, and the role of love.
