Atlas Brew Works Is Coming to the Bridge District

In case you missed it: one of D.C.’s favorite breweries, Atlas Brew Works, is making a big move — from Ivy City to Anacostia’s Bridge District.

After years of serving craft beer lovers from their Ivy City taproom, Atlas is closing that location this fall and opening a brand-new, full-scale brewery and taproom along the Anacostia waterfront. The move represents an exciting new chapter for both Atlas and our community.

A Milestone for Anacostia

The new Atlas Brew Works location will be the first full-scale brewery east of the Anacostia River, a major milestone for the Bridge District and the ongoing revitalization of our corridor. The addition of Atlas continues the momentum of new restaurants, retailers, and local entrepreneurs investing in this vibrant, growing community.

What to Expect

Atlas’s new space will feature an on-site brewing operation, a spacious taproom with indoor and outdoor seating, and food from their popular partner, Andy’s Pizza. Guests can expect the same creative craft brews, community-friendly atmosphere, and sustainable practices that have made Atlas a favorite across D.C.

A Warm Welcome to the Neighborhood

At the Anacostia BID, we’re thrilled to welcome Atlas Brew Works to the Bridge District family. Their presence will bring new energy, new visitors, and new opportunities for collaboration across our local business community.

So, as Atlas pours its final beers in Ivy City, we’re raising a glass to what’s ahead — a thriving brewery, more reasons to visit the Bridge District, and another great example of the growth happening east of the river.

Welcome to the neighborhood, Atlas Brew Works. We’re glad you’re here. 🍻
