Anacostia Playhouse's statement on COVID-19

The Anacostia Playhouse is closely monitoring the developments of COVID-19. We are working with the Theater Alliance to ensure that spaces are cleaned and disinfected between performances of This Bitter Earth, and following the guidance of local and national health officials in every way we can.

The health and safety of our patrons and artists is our utmost priority. To that end, we encourage you to stay home if you feel sick, wash your hands frequently, cover sneezes, and take other common-sense precautions. If you need to cancel or reschedule your tickets for This Bitter Earth, please contact their box office at boxoffice@theateralliance.com.

In addition, all our performances of our upcoming new play festival Silenced Voices will go on as planned. However, we recognize that the decision to be out is up to a personal choice, so if you need to cancel your tickets to the festival please contact us at natasha.anacostiaplayhouse@gmail.com
