Title: Patient Care Specialist
Reporting to:General Manager/ Assistant General Managers

Role Overview:

Patient Care Specialist will educate patients on the benefits of cannabis and the Anacostia Organics assortment and guide them through the purchasing process. They are experts on all products and information related to cannabis with Anacostia Organics. Patient Care Specialists must possess an immense knowledge of products and a passion for excellent service.

Major Areas of Responsibilities:

Imports product knowledge to patients and customers
Facilitates the sales process
Experts in cannabis and cannabis ingestion methods, with an emphasis on matching patients with products that best meet their needs.
Completes initial intake of first-time patients and provides continued assessment during subsequent visits
Creates a warm, empathetic and welcoming environment in keeping up with Anacostia Organics’ values

Primary Objectives:

Guides patients through Anacostia Organic’s ultimate patient experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

-Hospitality and/or retail experience preferred
-Experience in the medical cannabis industry preferred
-Must be 21 years of age
-Demonstrates patience and passion for medical cannabis patients -Highly Proficient at leveraging technology
-Familiarity with medicinal benefits of cannabis
-Ability to research and study product information
-Experienced in complex, fast-paced environments
-Ability to cultivate meaningful relationships
-A warm, kind and caring attitude and a quick learner
-Fast learner and an outstanding listener
-Interpreting/transliterating expressively and receptively using manual ASL and oral methods of communication to meet the needs and preferences of deaf/hard of hearing patients is preferred
