Position: 
Social Media Specialist/ Marketing Strategist/ Patient Care Specialist

Reporting to: General Manager/ Assistant General Manager

Position Overview:

We are looking for a driven Social Media Specialist to attract and interact with our social communities. The goal is to gradually achieve superior customer engagement and intimacy, website traffic, and revenue by strategically exploiting all aspects of social media marketing. Social media specialists should have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content so that it is engaging on those channels.

The Patient Care Specialist will educate patients on the benefits of medical cannabis and guide them through the purchasing process. They must possess immense knowledge and passion for products and a passion for excellent service.

Education/Experience:

College degree (preferred); high school (required)

Customer-service oriented retail environment (required)

Marketing experience (required)

Social media experience (required)

Cannabis experience (preferred)

Major Areas of Responsibilities:

-Responsible for creating content for all social media outlets

-Provides outstanding service to patients in the dispensary

-Imports product knowledge to patients

-Creates a warm, empathetic, and welcoming environment in keeping up with Anacostia Organics’ values.

-Marketing experience is required

Position:
Patient Care Specialist/Delivery Driver

Reporting to: General Manager/ Assistant General Manager

Role Overview:

Patient Care Specialist (PCS) is the ultimate Anacostia Organics brand ambassador. The PCS greets and checks in patients and must have immense knowledge of cannabis products and a passion for excellent service. The PCS will be able to educate patients and guide them through the selection process.
This position requires the PCS to also be one of the Delivery Drivers for Anacostia Organics to our DC patients within DC boundaries using their own DC registered vehicle with current licensing, tags, and insurance.

Major Areas of Responsibilities:

Acts as a host/hostess and the as the first impression member of Anacostia Organics

Checks-in patients into the POS system, verifying credentials and assisting new patients in registering with Anacostia Organics

Oversees the queuing process

Ensures the smooth, efficient, and fast flow of patients through the Lobby upon entry and exit

Oversees the order pick-up process

Assists patients with in-store procedures and in-store online ordering
Informs customers about new products and services

Possesses expert knowledge in cannabis and cannabis digestive methods

Reviews METRC/LeafLogix quotas and notes on patient profiles

Answers phones, retrieves, and responds to voicemails and email inquiries
Creates a warm, empathetic, and welcoming environment in keeping up with Anacostia Organics’ value

Serves as a Delivery Driver of medical cannabis products ordered by DC medical cannabis patients with delivery restricted to DC, when required

Follows DC Government regulations and safety standards

Follows routes and time schedule

Collects payment

Completes delivery logs and reports

Primary Objectives:

Provides excellent service and knowledge of cannabis to patients in the dispensary and while on delivery in a timely and professional manner

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must be 21 years of age

At least two years of college or higher education preferred

Must have the desire to grow with the company

Must have a reliable insured vehicle

Must be able to pass a background check (criminal and driver's records)

At least 3 years of hospitality, customer service, and/or retail experience, required
Must be detail-oriented, punctual, excellent organization and time management skills

Experience in the medical cannabis industry and familiarity with the medicinal benefits of cannabis preferred

Demonstrates patience and passion for medical cannabis patients

Highly proficient at leveraging technology

Ability to research and study product information

Experienced in complex, fast-paced environments

Must have a smartphone

Ability to cultivate meaningful relationships

A warm, kind, and caring attitude and a quick learner

Solid business acumen, management reporting, and problem-solving skills

DC residency, preferred
