The Community College Preparatory Academy (CC Prep) hosts an annual fundraiser and awareness event called the “Evening With the Stars.” We spotlight the work of our school and adult students who are using educational and training programs to move out from poverty and become tax-paying residents in the District’s knowledge-based economy. CC Prep is transforming lives one student at a time, based on the most current research from adult college students and career employees. We have identified students who embody the traits that yield successful outcomes and captured their stories. We invite you to join us in celebrating their success. This 90-minute event will feature a local chef and brief presentations. 

How Can I Contribute?

Platinum Sponsor-Contributes $3,500 $5,000, receives two invitations to our event and featured on our social networks, event program, and all promotional materials. 

Gold Sponsor-Contributes $2,000-$3,000, receives two invitations to our event and featured in our event program and promotional materials. 

Silver Sponsor-Contributes $750-$2000, receives two invitations to our event and will be featured in our program.

Friends of CC Prep-Contributes $100 annually, receives a quarterly update on our school and an annual invitation to the “Evening With the Stars”

You can register as a “Friend of CC Prep” on our website by clicking the DONATE button and indicating “Friend” as your donation designation. 

How will Funds be used?

It costs $100 a month to take the bus to school and for many of the 1000 plus students we serve annually, the biggest barrier to their attendance is transportation. CC Prep provides an emergency transportation fund for students in need. We also provide incentives for perfect attendance because they cannot learn if they are not in school.  Since we began this program, attendance has increased by more than 24%.
