JAN 8 | Project Create Family Art Day
Saturday, January 8th
1:00pm - 3:00pm
Register today at https://bit.ly/pcdcfamilyartday!
Join Project Create and the Capitol Jewish Museum on Saturday, January 8th from 1:00 to 3:00 PM for our live and in-person Family Art Day at the Project Create Arts Center (2208 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE). During this workshop, we will join with other families in our community to explore our similarities and differences through discussion and a hands-on art activity. Join us to connect with historical figures, one another, and ourselves.
This workshop is especially appropriate for kids ages 5-10, but all are welcome.
Project Create is happy to partner with The Capital Jewish Museum, which inspires audiences to connect, reflect and act: connect across families and diverse cultures, reflect on the relevance of the past to today, and act on behalf of their communities and values. With its unconventional, experimental spirit, the Museum will explore the American Jewish experience in the nation’s capital, and serve as a secular space for storytelling, connection, and dialogue. The new museum, now under construction at 3rd and F Street NW, will offer engaging exhibitions, extensive programming, and creative public experiences.
As always, Project Create programs are free and open to the public. Please note that, due to COVID-19 social distancing requirements, each session will be limited to 10 families and registration is required. For the safety of all participants, face masks are required at all times during the workshop.
