Thanks to a generous grant from the National Cable Television Association (NCTA) Education Foundation, Project Create has built a fully-equipped digital arts studio in Anacostia at 2208 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE (just down the street from our first Anacostia art studio).

Project Create is proud to present our Digital Creation Studio, an accessible artistic environment where D.C.’s East of the River youth can combine art and technology, mixing their unique voices through film, photography, illustration, 3D design, music production, DJing and more.

2019 classes at the new studio will include creative writing and audio music production with Konshens the MC; photography with Will Starks; and video production with Shanay Miles. These Project Create classes are designed to develop and nurture leadership skills, cultivate critical thinkers, produce creative work that reflects students’ interests, and amplify youth voices to drive creative change in their community. 

We would love to have you join us as we celebrate our East of the River community and open the doors of our new Digital Creation Studio in Anacostia! Come for wine & cheese, music and  creative fellowship.
