Project Create provides accessible arts education to promote positive development in children, youth and families experiencing homelessness and poverty. Project Create believes that a creative community can instill a sense of belonging and positive cultural identity. These anchors make it easier for children to resist destructive influences and make constructive choices. Through art, they encourage their students to use their voices to represent and advocate for themselves in their communities.

Anacostia Arts Center is proudly showing the works of Ben Lithman, Niamca Cooper and DeAndre McKnight. 14 X 3 opens August 9, 2019 and runs through September 28, 2019 in Vivid Gallery, 1231 Good Hope Road SE Washington DC 20020. The opening reception is free and open to the public.
